Split Screen

I'm always, always, always on the hunt for interesting ways to hang art.

I spotted this home tour by designer Tara Guerard on Style Me Pretty, via Bryn Alexandra.  I love the way they hung the many-panelled Japanese screen with a little--interruption--from the window.  This may have been a practical choice--if the screen was simply too big for the space between windows--but I will give them full credit for their ingenuity.  This installation gives the screen added energy, and I love the way it calls your attention right on over.

Happy weekend!
