Get the Look: Playful Pastel Girl's Room

We are back with another Get the Look, this time focused on Lael’s bedroom from the Pond View Drive project published in the current edition of Minneapolis St. Paul Home and Design. (We have the PDF of the full article up, here!)

I pulled together pieces similar to those we used in Lael’s room to create a room that she can grow with. All items used in this Get the Look are linked below!

Choosing bedding with a large scale pattern creates a base to ground the bedroom. Finding pre-made curtain panels in a small scale print is prefect to balance the bold print of the duvet. Adding a headboard to an existing bedframe is another way to elevate a room without completely starting over with a whole new bed; choosing a neutral color will also be timeless if she changes her room as she gets older. The bunny lamp brings in a whimsical feeling perfect for a girls room! Bedside books are a must and this Ladybug Girl series is fitting for this charming room. Adding throw pillows and art finish off the room by pulling colors from the duvet while keeping a playful feeling.
