Lauren's Winter Survival Guide

It’s official.. winter has finally descended on Minnesota. With winter comes cozy fireplaces, more time with family and a little self-care. My winter survival guide incorporates all of that and of course a little fun!

  1. A cozy Johanna Howard Home Dip-Dyed Alpaca Throw.

  2. A great gel-cream facial moisturizer from Hanskin.

  3. With all that hand washing and dry air, we all could use a little hydration on our hands. Weleda’s Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream is my absolute favorite!

  4. I’m really into doing my own nails and have been for years. The tortoise shell nails is one of my favorite trends and here’s a tutorial and some inspiration.

  5. A pretty handbag that’s perfect for so many occasions. Velvet, feathers and sparkles, I’m sold! Did I mention it’s on sale too?!

  6. I love candles and what’s more comforting than the smell of an amazing candle? Diptyque makes some of my favorite scents. Baies is definitely my all time favorite scent.

  7. Skultuna makes beautiful accessories. I love their candleholders. With a tea light, the Feather Candle Holder casts a gorgeous and festive light. Plus it is made by renowned jewelry designer Lara Bohinc.

  8. Baxter’s Artik Chair is the perfect place to cuddle up and read a book.

  9. Osborne & Little’s Pellestrina pillow cover is a dark moody floral pattern perfect for a bedroom or a living room.

  10. Silken Favours in London makes some funky pillows. Their Silk Leopard Cushion is one of my personal favs.

  11. I love an evil eye and when I came across Joanna Buchanan’s Evil Eye Cocktail Picks I was ecstatic.

  12. Tom Dixon creates so many beautiful pieces. I especially love his bar ware. It is modern and sculptural and comes in great finishes. Here we are featuring the Plum Bar Gift Set and the Plum Cocktail Shaker.

  13. Coral & Tusk has awesome textiles and pre-made pillows. Keeping with the evil eye theme the Evil Eye Pillow is another coveted piece of mine.

  14. To pair with that Evil Eye pillow is the Evil Eye Applique Pillow.

I hope you enjoyed my winter survival guide. Stay warm and cozy this winter!

xoxo Lauren
