The Love List: Wicker
If you’re following along on this love list, you already know I love wicker in all the forms. (see also: rattan, cane.) Here are some great pieces available now, both new and vintage, in various styles.
Clockwise from top left:
Wicker pendant, Ro Sham Beaux. We got to meet the founder of the company at Market last year. The details on these pieces, particularly the chains, are fantastic! This piece comes in a couple of configurations, and I love that it is boho yet tailored.
I love a salt and pepper set as a useful accessory. I also love making fancy things unfancy. Wrapping traditional silver with wicker does the trick!
Similarly, this mirror is grand in shape yet casual in wicker. So good.
Wicker gets a little funky in this lighting collection. I would hang this in a corner with a reading chair.
A wicker-wrapped corkscrew. Perfect stocking stuffer!
It is well documented that I love a footed bowl. I’m into the mix of braiding and weaves on this one from Sharland England.
This bistro set is a splurge but LOOK at all that personality?
I love the sexy, organic shape of this twisted basket.
This oval French serving tray is from a lovely local shop, Flotsam and Fork.
I have been coveting a wicker urn on pedestal for the studio! The one shown is currently on backorder but here is similar.
Vintage wicker lamp on legs. This would modernize any space—but not too much!
