We are back with another Designer Tidbits! Check out the different strategies we used in the living room of our Graphic meets Organic project. This living room was all about mixing our clients love of plants with graphic hits of color.

• No one said those shelves had to house books. Love plants? Make a display!

• No, you don’t necessarily need to hang anything over the mantel.

• Pick up art while on vacation— it makes your home personal and provides reminders of great times.

• Repeat a pattern in a different color.

• Use a tray or book stacks to divide up the surface of a large coffee table.

• Leather pulls add unexpected texture.

• When the pillow ground matches the sofa it really pops!

• Vary heights; both in the overall arrangement and withing repeating pieces.
