Lauren's Maison et Objet 2020 Wrap-Up
Maison et Objet is a professional trade fair centered around lifestyle, decoration and design that is in January and September in Paris every year.
Maison et Objet never disappoints. I love seeing all the new emerging designers showcase their coveted pieces in Paris. Hopefully one day I’ll be there taking photos myself!
I’ve created a list of all my favorite things that I saw (virtually of course!) at Masion et Objet this year.
Top photo:
-Dooq: This is the first I had ever heard of Dooq. They definitely caught my attention! Between the Souks mirrors and the Odisseia chair, I will certainly be looking for a place to use those pieces.
Second row from left:
-cc-tapis: I adore cc-tapis and have been following them for years. I just can’t get enough and had to throw this in the mix.
Third row from left to right:
-Toni/Inot: Another amazing manufacturer out of Portugal. I’m starting to feel like there’s a lot of great designers from Portugal these days! This chair is simply perfect.
-Octaevo (the two photos in the middle of the third row): Who knew such beautiful objects could be made from paper?! Yes, you read that right, paper. It’s affordable too, so it’s a win win!
-Plycollection (third row right photo): Beautiful wood stacking chairs. I didn’t even know there was a need for beautiful stacking chairs, but here it is.
Fourth row from left to right:
-Kapka Enamel: Dishware for people who love color and most of all FUN.
-Green River Project LLC: Hand-crafted beautiful wood furniture.
-101 Copenhagen (from the middle photo on the fourth row to the last photo on that row): Another affordable manufacturer that has lovely shapes and textures.
Last row:
Houtique: I’ve loved Houtique for the last couple of years. Fringe, brass, velvet and lively colors and shapes. What’s not to love?!
