“I was starting a whole new life after a divorce. I wanted something to feel ‘like me’ but I didn’t know what that was. Heather helped me find my style. Now I have a space that feels truly comfortable, livable, beautiful and put together.”

We first worked with Kara in her long-time family home. When she moved to her own place, it was an opportunity to develop her feminine, boho style while incorporating the more modern and mid-century pieces she brought from her previous life. We rescued her Grandma Shirley’s vintage porter chair from the basement and transformed it with a mix of red, blue, and tribal fabrics—encapsulating the strong throughline of color and pattern that runs through the space.
