“Our small house lives much bigger than it did before. We have more seating in our dining room and living room and the banquette in our dining room has become my daughter's favorite spot to sit and do homework.”
It may seem counter-intuitive, but often the trick to making small rooms feel bigger is using big furniture. We used the biggest sectional we could find to maximize seating and create division between the entry and living room. We connected the living and dining rooms with matching drapes, and took the light, bright palette from their vintage-inspired floral pattern. The art and accessories add a heady does of charm.
